Welcome to AYSO Region 479

Tehachapi, California Home of Planes, Trains, and Windmills

Welcome to AYSO region 479's home page. We are happy to have you visiting our web site. Our region has over 850 players and 75 teams, almost all them coed. Tehachapi is located in the southern end of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We are approximately 50 miles east of Bakersfield Ca., 100 miles north of the Los Angeles area. Tehachapi is known for the Tehachapi Loop ( a significant railroad engineering feat), wind turbine farms (providing a important clean clergy source), apples, and a state correctional facility. Near by is Edwards Air Force Base, a major area employer. We have approximately 30,000 people spread across three valleys.

Tehachapi AYSO King of the Mountain Tournament 2008

Dates: June 21-22, 2008
Deadline: May 28th, 2008
Place: Tehachapi California
Divisions: U10, U12, U14, boys and girls division, co-ed teams will play in the boys division

*Applications accepted by that date will be given priority for acceptance into the tournament; all others will be accepted based on any available openings.
