Player Registration Information


REGISTRATION FOR 2008 SEASON


WHO:

Boys and girls ages 4 1/2 to 18 are eligible to play in Region 479.

WHEN:

Registration is held on May 3rd, 2008 and May 17th, 2008 - 9:00am until 2:00pm. Sometimes we may schedule a special "late" registration session. See the event calendar for more dates.

WHERE:

At Benz-Visco Youth Sports and Cultural Park. (See direction to park).

HOW MUCH:

The registration fee for the 2008 is, $ 80.00 for the first player, the fee decreases by $5.00 for each player following the first.

WHAT TO BRING:

New Players will need to bring a copy of their birth certificate when registering. We also HIGHLY recommend you pre-register on line by clicking here.

After July 15th, Call for information on waiting lists.


The List Of Don´ts

WE DO NOT HONOR REQUESTS FOR CAR POOLING OR BUDDIES. WE WORK VERY HARD TO MAINTAIN BALANCED TEAMS, AND THESE TYPES OF REQUESTS MAKE BALANCING THE TEAMS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE.

WE DO NOT HONOR REQUESTS TO PLACE A CHILD ON A SPECIFIC COACHES TEAM.

WE CANNOT PLAY A CHILD DOWN A DIVISION. THIS IS IN VIOLATION OF OUR INSURANCE POLICES.

IF YOU HAVE A REQUEST YOU FEEL IS VITAL, PLEASE SUBMIT THE REQUEST IN WRITING FOR OUR BOARD TO DISCUSS. You must submit your request prior to last board meeting prior to July 15th.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept credit card payments, but do offer a payment schedule if necessary. We have a limited number of partial scholarships available. To request information and or approval on either the payment plan or scholarships please request the proper form at the cashier.

Region 479 does not allow the free transfer of players between teams. The Registrar is the only person authorized to assign players to any team, and this is done from the Waiting List based on the date the player was added to the list.

Players are registered into divisions according to the age of the player as of July 31st of the playing year:

Refund requests will not be accepted by telephone. TELLING THE COACH DOES NOT MEAN A REFUND IS BEING ISSUED. Uniforms must be returned to the coach before the refund will be issued.
