How can you make your
child's experience with youth sports even better?
...by volunteering of course!
AYSO is an ALL VOLUNTEER organization. From the coaches, to the
referees, to the nice folks who help facilitate the whole season
and beyond, everyone is a volunteer! Volunteering for AYSO is not
only one of the most rewarding things you can do for your child,
it is also easy enough for ANYONE to do!
We need volunteer Coaches and Assistant Coaches!
You do NOT need to be an expert sports superstar
to be a great youth sports coach. All you need is the desire to
help and have a good time doing it. All AYSO coaches go through
coaching classes every year, which helps make sure you are prepared
to coach whatever age division you volunteer for, even if you have
never even seen a soccer ball before! Each team needs a Coach and
an Assistant Coach, and you will be surprised what a good feeling
it is to watch these kids learn and have fun at the game of soccer.
As a former coach myself, I still have my child's classmates come
up to me and say "Hi, Coach" 2 years later. It is a great
feeling!

We need volunteer Referees!
Without quality, trained referees, our children cannot play this
game they love so much, and what better vantage point to watch a
game from than center field! For such a small investment of your
time, you can become a great referee, even with no prior soccer
knowledge at all! You will be getting great excercise, feel
great, and be helping your children and their peers to have a great
